Price increase in Spanish Real Estate

Tendencia mercado

One of the Spanish Real Estate market surveyors (Fotocasa) has issued the price trends for end January 2014.

In 11 of the 17 states (comunidades autónomas) of Spain, the property prices increased by 0,1% to 0,9% compared to the last years Month of December. In Catalunya the prices remained unvaried at 2160 Euro/m2.

Since the historical maximum of the year 2007 (2952 Euro/m2),  prices of real estate in Spain have fallen by 42%, and it seems the right moment to invest in Spanish Real Estate, because prices are very interesting and the decline in prices is decelerating very strongly.

Also in our marktsegment at the Costa Brava we see strong signals, that price decline is coming to a halt. The very competitive property price levels together with a strong demand from especially French, Belgium and Russian buyers make, that real estate transactions will increase during 2014.
