Real estate exhibitions
Porfinca starts to participate as one of the first local agencies in International real estate exhibitions in the UK , Netherlands and Belgium. For a couple of years the main buyers had the English nationality, followed by National , and French clients.

Opening of new office in Sant Antoni
Porfinca opens a bigger and better located office at the Avenue de Catalunya in Sant Antoni de Calonge.

Porfinca was one of te first real estate agencies that started to put a lot of efforts in the transition from paper- to digital publicity. Own website promotion via Google ( SEO) and publishing in international websites became Key.

World financial crisis
The collapse of Lehman Brothers became the signal event of the 2008 financial crisis that particularly hit the real estate market. An already well established reputation and continuing focus on sales transactions at the Costa Brava only helped us survive over the next couple of years.
