Below we provide a brief overview of most residential areas in Santa Cristina d'Aro.
Les Teules
This area is located between Castell d'Aro and Santa Cristina d'Aro against a mountain wall of the Gavarras. Most villas are oriented to the south and many houses have sea views towards Sant Feliu de Guixols. Due to this ideal location and orientation, you can always find a sheltered spot when the north wind (Tramontana) prevails.
Roca de Malvet
Seen from the coast, this area is located beyond and close to the center of Sant Cristina d'Aro. The houses at the bottom of the area have the advantage of being quickly accessible, while the houses at the top enjoy a beautiful sea view. There is a relatively large number of permanent residents here.
Vall Repos
Vall Repos is a very quietly located urbanization in the middle of the Gavarras mountains. The area is accessible from Calonge, Santa Cristina or Llagostera. Most residents go to Calonge for shopping and to Sant Antoni beach to enjoy the sea. Calonge is a 10-minute drive away. This is an ideal area if you want to live quiet and in full nature and be among people within ten minutes.
Sant Miguel d'Aro
Like Vall Repos, this area is located in the Gavarras nature reserve past the medieval village of Romanya de la Selva. The distance to the center of Santa Cristina is only 6 km via a beautiful and easily accessible road. This urbanization has a lively communal area with swimming pool and restaurant. There is a lot of permanent housing and there is even a daily bus for children who go to school in Santa Cristina d'Aro.
Golf Costa Brava
In 1968, the Costa Brava golf court was opened on a slightly hilly site. Around the golf course there are luxurious houses in a generally traditional style in a beautiful natural environment. The houses enjoy sea views, mountain views or views of the golf course. The area is only 2 km from the center of Santa Cristina and is therefore very accessible.
Bell Lloc
Quiet area in a very wooded area at the foot of the Gavarras and 3 km from the center of Sant Cristina. Most villas are built on relatively flat plots and have beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Rosamar
This urbanization is located close to the famous coastal road halfway between San Feliu de Guixols and Tossa de Mar. Most villas are built on fairly steep plots, which, together with the proximity to the coast, provide very beautiful sea views. Many villas are within walking distance of the emblematic beach of Canyet
El Mas Trempat
Mas Trempat is located 1 km from Sant Feliu de Guixols and only 2 km from the coast, but belongs to Santa Cristina. About 200 houses have been built here in a quiet environment. Most houses have a view of the Gavarras or the coastline of the Costa Brava. There is a lot of permanent residence here.
